At Kozetta's Dance, we believe that everyone can dance! Our studio offers a fun and supportive environment for dancers of all levels. We offer a variety of classes, so you're sure to find something that interests you.

Miss Kozetta's lifelong dream of owning her own dance studio was realized when the first little dancers arrived for class in the converted basement of her home in 1984. Prior to that time, she had studied dance both privately and in college. She continues to study in order to stay current on the latest techniques. 

Miss Kozetta is not only the owner but also teaches each class. This ensures your child receives instruction from a degreed and certified dance instructor with decades of professional dance experience.

Each year, she continues to keep her pulse on the latest dance trends through continuing education, attending seminars and training sessions. 

Quality Instruction

Kozetta has earned a B.A. from Baker University and is certified through Dance Educators of America.

She has performed professionally on stage, television and hosted the talk show Dance Dialogue for Dallas Public Access Television. 

We offer classes for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced. Our schedule is designed to accommodate busy lifestyles, with classes offered during the day and in the evening. Check out our schedule to find a class that works for you!

• For Young Dancers:
  The Starlet Program - designed for the young dancer.  These classes offer instruction in Tap, Ballet and Tumbling with an emphasis on rhythm, coordination and development of gross motor skills.  Age levels are as follows:
  Starlet I : ages 2 1/2 - 3 1/2
  Starlet II: ages 3 1/2 - 5
  Starlet III: ages 6 - 8
  New! Starlet + adds jazz to the regular Starlet Curriculum: ages 6 - 9
  

We specialize in classes for young children!

• For the Tweeners:
• Bridge Classes - are designed to integrate students ready to advance from the Starlet Program but not yet ready to move to a single subject class:
• Jazz / Ballet: ages 7 & over or with Director approval.
• Students learn the fundamentals and progressions necessary for advancement into single subject study.

• For the Twirler:
• *SPECIALTY BATON CLASS*
• Ages 7 & over
• Add this 30 minute class to any core class and join in the fun!
• Twirlers march in parades and perform in the Dance Concert in May.

• For the Advanced Dancer:
• Jazz: ages 8 - adult Beginner through Advanced levels.
• Our jazz program emphasizes strong dance technique with elements of funky style, hip hop and musical theater thrown in for the flavor!

• Ballet:  Levels I - IV    
• Pointe: Dancers must take 2 ballet classes per week and master certain technique requirements (requires Director approval).
• Ballet is the basis for all dance and I believe the most important dance discipline.  A ballet student is able to step into any dance form with ease!  Classes are divided by level and include barre, center and combination work.

• Tap: Ages 9 & older

Our dance studio is more than just a place to take classes - it's a community of dancers who share a passion for dance. We host events and performances throughout the year, and offer opportunities for dancers to connect and collaborate.
